FileZilla
FileZilla is a good File Transfer Protocol (FTP) client software for those who are currently using Windows XP, Windows 2000, and Windows NT4. Frequent FTP client users may find that this software is user-friendly, and can support quite a few features. Yet even with so much functionality, the FTP client remains reliable and fast anyway.
You will find that it offers support for proxy connections and firewalls, plus provides for Kerberos GSS and SSL security. In addition, FileZilla is a multi-lingual software that can be used by Japanese, French, German, and English speakers (among many other languages that are available on FileZilla.)
Furthermore, you gain powerful encryption support based on use of FTP over SSL/TLS and use of SFTP over SSH. Transfer resuming is possible here, along with any files bigger than 4 gigabytes. Another feature you may avail of with FileZilla is the Site Manager (among others.)
